2024-10-07
We are happy to announce that the ILA and the Maritime Commission have reached a tentative agreement and have suspended the strike. Ports are reopening and will resume full operations on Monday 10/7/2024. Our warehouses will also resume loading and receiving cargo.
Since the ports were closed for this entire week, there will be significant congestion and backlog at both the terminals and the warehouses. We will do our best to clean up the backlog as soon as possible and expedite your cargo.
2024-09-04 Oversize cars and big SUV loadings
Dear clients,
please note that due to extremely limited amount of 45ft containers available at all loading ports, and inefficient amount of sedans, it is unavoidable that we need to load 3 cars in 40ft containers. We will make the most efficient combinations for all load plans, but again, cars need to get loaded and we cannot hold hem for 2-3 or even more weeks without loading.
We cannot fit 3 oversize units in 40ft container, so we will try to combine 2 oversize units with 1 midsize/small SUV; or large SUV with oversize unit and midsize SUV.
Thank you for understanding
No. You do not need a dealer's or other professional's license to buy a car. CAROMOTO is a licensed dealer who will buy a car for you.
Upon registration and deposit, bidders must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license or government-issued identification.
CAROMOTO is an authorized dealer that provides access to all major US auctions through our website. With CAROMOTO, you can browse and bid on a wide range of cars to suit your needs. It's simple: you register, make a deposit and place a bid on the car you like. Once your bid is successful and you have made payment to CAROMOTO, we will arrange delivery of your vehicle. We will process all stages of receiving your car and ownership documents quickly and transparently.
We have a flat fee of $295 for CAROMOTO services and a $95 documentation fee for title mailing and reassignment.
A registration confirmation email is sent within 5 minutes after completion. If you do not receive it, please confirm the email address you entered or try registering again, paying special attention to the correct email address.
If the problem persists, please contact our support team to confirm your registration details.
Registration is the first step required to create your Caromoto account.
Registration allows you to create a personal account and gain full access to all features of the site, including additional options that are closed to unregistered users.
Registration and subsequent transfer of a refundable security deposit will allow you to participate in bidding at all major car auctions in the USA and Korea with our help.
Once you've signed in to your account, your Customer ID will be located at the top of the screen to the right of your name in parentheses. The Customer ID is your account number.
Yes, you will receive notifications at all major stages of the transaction. Additionally, you will be able to view the current stage and position of your vehicle on the timeline in your account.
If you want to buy a car with CAROMOTO, you need to pay a refundable security deposit (deposit). The deposit guarantees full payment for your purchase at auction. If your bid is successful but you do not pay for the vehicle within 15 days of auction close, you will forfeit your deposit. The security deposit covers resale costs if your bid is successful but you decide not to pay for the car.
The security deposit required by Caromoto is 10% of your maximum bid at the auction, but not less than $600 for each vehicle. A $600 deposit enables you to bid up to a total of $6,000 on one vehicle. If you would like to bid on multiple vehicles, or bid higher than $6,000 USD, you’ll have to increase your Bidding Limit by providing an additional deposit.
For example, to place a bid of $15,000, you need to make a security deposit of at least $1,500.
Security Deposits that do not have an outstanding balance or have outstanding bids are 100% refundable.
If bidding on multiple vehicles at one time, minimum deposit requirements must be met for each vehicle. Security Deposits that do not have an outstanding balance or have outstanding bids are 100% refundable.
There are three ways to make a security deposit:
- Credit / Debit Card
- PayPal
- Bank Wire transfer
- Zelle
- Cryptocurrency (USDT, USDC, BTC итп.)
To select your method of payment, go to the Payment section in your account. Please make sure your deposit is made with consideration of any fees your bank may apply for the transaction.
If you choose to pay in cryptocurrency (USDT, USDC, BTC, etc.), we recommend that you read the detailed instructions on how to make a payment:
https://youtu.be/xzcahzAvs70
If you did not use CAROMOTO services, have no active bids at the time of request and have no outstanding balance, you may order a refund through your account via MY ACCOUNT - BALANCE. You may also request a refund by email to sales@caromoto.com. Refunds will be processed via the same method of payment used to make the deposit and typically take 2-3 days.
When making a money transfer, any financial institution “Bank” charges a commission for this operation.
The size of the commission may vary for different banks, so it is necessary to take into account the commission when making a bank transfer (deposit).
Once funds are deposited into your CAROMOTO account, our bank will also charge a deposit fee (about $10). Therefore, the amount credited to the client's balance may be slightly less than the amount the client transferred.
All security deposits paid into a CAROMOTO account are 100% refundable.
CAROMOTO does not charge a fee for returning the deposit. The refund amount will be equal to the amount that was transferred to CAROMOTO's bank account.
Keep in mind that banks may charge fees for transferring funds, so you may get back less than your original deposit.
All security deposits paid into your Caromoto account are 100% refundable unless you have an outstanding balance or outstanding auction bids. CAROMOTO does not charge a fee for returning the deposit. The refund will be the same amount paid to Caromoto and usually takes 2-3 days from the date of the refund request.
Registered customers can increase their security deposit at any time by logging into their PERSONAL ACCOUNT and going to DEPOSIT to increase their deposit.
If you deposited using a credit card, you will not see the refund credited to your account immediately. This type of transaction holds the funds in a pending state so that when your refund is processed, the funds will be released into your account. Check with your institution to see if the withholding has been cleared or view your bank statement. Depending on your institution, it may take some time to process this return.
Most banks charge a fee for transferring funds to an external account.
The amount of the fee may vary depending on which financial institution you are transferring funds from, so you should be aware of your bank's fee policies and increase your deposit to cover this cost.
Once funds are deposited into your CAROMOTO account, our bank will also charge a deposit fee (about $10). Therefore, the amount credited to the client's balance may be slightly less than the amount the client transferred.
If you paid the security deposit by bank transfer, you can use it when purchasing the car. Security deposits made by credit card, debit card or PayPal are pending and are not actual transfers of funds, so you cannot use them to purchase your vehicle.
Your security deposit simply remains in your account for future bids on the vehicle, or you can request a refund of the deposit.
A vehicle may only be returned if a pre-purchase Post Sales Inspection (PSI) has been performed which reveals major discrepancies between the condition report and the actual condition of the vehicle. If the car is sold "As Is", then returns are not possible.
An inspection for a vehicle can be ordered no later than 2 business days before the date of sale of the vehicle, not including today and the day of sale. The service is provided by IAA and Copart Auctions. Inspectors provide a driving assessment, inspect the vehicle inside and out, and take additional photographs. Inspections are carried out by third party companies and auctions do not guarantee the reports provided. Inspection cost is $155 for a passenger vehicle. For large vehicles the inspection is calculated individually and we will contact you before placing your order. You can leave your inspection notes in the field below, but we cannot guarantee that they will be taken into account by the inspector carrying out the order.
Yes, you can.
Please note that in the absence of a title, we can deliver your car to its final destination. Depending on the auction, the seller has a certain amount of time to send the title to the buyer. Please inquire about the terms and conditions of your specific auction if Title is not available.
If the title is not delivered within the specified time frame, the vehicle may be returned to the next auction if the buyer wishes. Additional fees may apply (e.g. Title duplication, storage, late application fees) and are the buyer's responsibility.
Yes, this can happen, but it is rare. Auction workers are subject to human error and may miss some hidden defects. Additionally, auto auctions sell in high volumes, making CR (AutoGrade) errors more likely to occur than traditional retail channels.
To protect your purchase from such errors, we strongly recommend that you carefully check your purchase using our AUTO CHECK service. Additionally, consider having a pre-sale inspection through one of our partners (AIM) and/or a post-sale inspection by PSI provided by the auction company. These services come at a low cost and protect you from damages missed during the initial inspection process.
AS-IS (As Is) is a designation that means a vehicle sold at auction is in the same condition it was found in at auction. No further claims regarding his condition will be accepted.
Even if they are in the listing photos, we cannot guarantee any loose parts. Loose parts are sometimes lost, lost or otherwise missing from insurance auctions. We promise to do our best to ensure delivery of any parts that should come with the vehicle you purchase.
PSI (Post Sale Inspection) is an inspection of a car after the sale. It can be ordered at auction on the day of purchase to check for possible damage or defects to the vehicle that were not documented during the preliminary inspection.
The auction will provide you with a list of damages found during the PSI that can be repaired at the auction, or you can return the vehicle to the auction. Auctions provide a 7 to 14 day PSI inspection guarantee.
The average price for a PSI inspection ranges from approximately $100 to $180, depending on location and warranty period. If the vehicle has already been inspected, auctions typically do not send PSI data to the dealer. The auction will only contact the dealer if additional damage is discovered during PSI.
CAROMOTO strongly recommends investing in PSI to protect your purchase from any errors made during the initial inspection. Purchasing a PSI gives the buyer the opportunity to inspect the vehicle and return it within the warranty period if a discrepancy exists.
Our company is officially registered as a dealer at the following auctions:
MANHEIM, COPART, ADESA, IAA, IMPACT, NPA, ACV, PIPELINE, IRONPLANET, MACHINERYTRADE, IMPACT, AJ, GLOVIS, LOTTE, K-CAR
We are a Market Alliance partner for IAA auction centers in Moldova and an official broker in all other countries.
You can also buy any cars through CAROMOTO that you find on sites like CARS.COM, AUTOTRADER.COM, or from any individual dealer.
By agreement with the client, we can purchase any vehicle from any source or private party in the United States.
If there is any delay in receiving payment or shipping order, it is auction policy to charge a storage fee for the vehicle. Therefore, it is very important to pay the full price of the car and provide shipping information for your car immediately after your bid wins the auction.
You are responsible for paying any auction storage fees incurred due to late payment or missing shipping information. Shipment cannot be scheduled until we receive payment for your purchase, so please make payment immediately after your winning auction bid to avoid any storage fees.
Buying cars at dealer auctions is a guaranteed way to purchase cars. The auction system is designed in such a way as to facilitate and speed up the process of buying cars. The entire process of buying a car at auction is explained in detail and is subject to certain rules.
Auction companies always check equipment and take responsibility in case of serious discrepancies.
Buying cars at auctions eliminates many of the hassles that often come with buying from traditional sources and saves you money!
A "Not Actual" reading indicates that the odometer reading cannot be determined or is inaccurate. This can be caused by many reasons such as odometer replacement, exceeding the maximum value and returning to zero, damage to the meter, missing keys (if electric), etc.
Vehicles for off-site sales are not physically located at the auction. Preview and pickup locations are listed on the lot detail page. Please see preview dates and times to arrange inspection of any item.
You can use the "Buy Now" option. It should be noted that once the Buy It Now option is submitted, the buyer is required to immediately pay the amount specified for the purchase.
The seller has two business days to respond to your offer if you choose this option. If you decide to "Make an Offer" to the seller and he accepts, you are obligated to pay for the car. Once an offer is made, it cannot be cancelled.
The seller's minimum price is not displayed during the auction. You can see the seller's minimum bid price if you were the highest bidder at the end of the auction.
You may want to review previous sales of similar vehicles at auction before placing a bid. This will give you an idea of the final cost for that particular vehicle. Most auctions have historical sales data available through their websites. Ask us if you need help!
You can place as many bids as you like until the car is won.
Bids must be placed based on the actual value of the vehicle.
CAROMOTO reserves the right not to bid on a vehicle if it is undervalued.
Go to your personal account in the “BIDS” section and select the “CANCEL” option in the bid menu.
A bid can only be canceled before the bid is submitted to the auction. Please note the timer before the start of a Live Auction or the end of a Timed Auction.
Immediately after bidding at the auction, you can check the results of bids in your personal account, in the BIDS section. You will also receive an email about the results of your bid.
All bids must be placed at least 1 hour before the start of the line, otherwise bids are not guaranteed to be processed.
To participate in a Live Auction in person, you must open the item and join the auction at the designated time.
This feature is currently available through Copart Auctions.
You must enter the maximum dollar amount you are willing to pay for the vehicle in $100 increments. Your maximum bid is not visible to the seller. Your bid will increase by $100 as needed until your maximum bid is reached.
You can edit and check the status of your bids in your personal account, in the Bids section.
Bids will not be accepted less than 1 hour before the auction starts.
If you want to buy a car that you found outside of the auction, then you will need to use a special form, which is located in the ORDER section.
You must indicate the name of the car, Year, Mileage, VIN number, a link to the resource where the car is located, and the maximum amount you are willing to pay for the selected car.
Most auctions begin bidding at EST - Eastern Standard Time UTC - 5 hours.
Auctions may also begin in the following time zones, depending on location:
CST - Central Standard Time UTC - 6 hours
MST - Mountain Standard Time UTC - 7 hours
PST - Pacific Standard Time UTC - 8 hours
Your bid limit is the maximum bid you can place at any given time. This also dictates how many vehicles you can bid on at one time. Your bidding limit is determined by your security deposit. If you want to increase your bidding limit, you will need to increase your security deposit. Your minimum deposit required is 10% of your maximum auction bid, up to a minimum of $600 for each vehicle you bid on.
If you are allowed to buy several cars at the same time, then you can place multiple bids on each car purchased.
For example, you want to buy two cars. Place 5 bids on the first car and play until one bid wins. And place 3 bids on the second car and play until one of the 3 bids wins the car.
To do this, you need to select for which car you are purchasing this rate applies in the “BID CONFIRMATION” section (Fig. below). If you are bidding on the first car, then select “Buying car #1”, and if this is a bid on the second car purchased, then select “Buying car #2”.
To do this, you need to select which car you want to bid on in the “BID CONFIRMATION” (see picture below). If you are bidding on the first car, select "Buying car #1", and if this bid is on the second car, select "Buying car #2".
P.S. You can place a maximum of 10 bids per day on each car you purchase.
You can view and bid during live auctions at your convenience through the CAROMOTO website. Once you've registered and made your deposit, simply select "Live Auction" at the top of the home page. You'll have the option to view the auction calendar to start planning or join a live auction to start bidding.
You can bid on any number of cars. The minimum security deposit must be 10%, but not less than $600 for each vehicle you wish to bid on.
You have three options. You can choose to "Increase bid", "Keep bid" or "Accept minimum bid". Once you make a counteroffer to a seller, it cannot be rescinded. The seller has one business day to accept, reject or deny your offer. Once an offer is submitted, the buyer is obligated to purchase the vehicle if the seller accepts the offer.
A counterbid is an offer made by the seller in response to the highest bidder. You may accept or decline the offer, but you will be responsible for the purchase of any vehicle you offer or accept from the seller.
No, you will not pay your "maximum rate". You will only have to pay the final price plus any applicable fees. When an auction is won, our system will generate an invoice and send it along with notification to the email address we have on file for you. The invoice will show the final auction bid price.
If the vehicle is purchased at auction, you must pay the final price of the vehicle at auction, the applicable auction fee, the CAROMOTO dealer fee, the cost of shipping the vehicle to its destination, ocean freight if shipped by sea, and title document delivery fees. Any fees added to the transaction (e.g. storage, late payment, additional paperwork) will be included on the invoice and will be the buyer's responsibility.
In your personal account in the BALANCE section you can view all transactions made between you and CAROMOTO.
When you make a transfer, you will receive an email notification that we have received your funds.
If your payment does not show up in your balance, please send us a copy of the bank transfer to our email address (support@caromoto.com) for verification.
No. We are a licensed US dealership and handle all auction purchases. You will be purchasing a vehicle from CAROMOTO, so you will need to make payment directly to CAROMOTO for the purchase of your vehicle.
If your bid is not successful, you will not have to pay anything. You can continue bidding until your bid wins or request a refund of your deposit.
If you win the auction, CAROMOTO will send you an invoice to your registered email address containing your CAROMOTO account information. Please contact your bank to understand their requirements for making a bank transfer, including identification forms. Please be aware that your bank and any institutions making international transfers may charge a transaction fee. Please enter the transfer amount including these fees to ensure the correct CAROMOTO amount is issued and avoid any late fees during the transaction. Please be sure to email us a copy of your bank receipt so that we can use your funds accordingly, and be sure to include your invoice number when making your payment.
When making a bank transfer, you must indicate the invoice number, as well as the last 6 digits of the VIN of the purchased vehicle.
You also need to send us a copy of the bank transfer via email (support@caromoto.com).
These steps are necessary for successful and timely replenishment of your balance.
The speed of a bank wire transfer depends on several factors. A wire transfer between domestic US bank accounts is usually completed within 24 hours. However, wire transfers between the US and international accounts take approximately 1–5 days.
Make sure you send us a copy of the wire transfer receipt from your bank by email, so we have notification it has been made.
Because we need to receive the full amount shown on the invoice, you must indicate to your financial institution that all bank charges will be paid by the sender.
If your bid is successful but you do not pay for the vehicle within 15 days of auction close, you will forfeit your deposit. The security deposit covers resale costs if your bid is successful but you decide not to pay for the car.
International customers must pay by bank transfer. To avoid late fees, please make payment promptly after winning an auction and allow time for your institution to transfer funds. You can apply the security deposit towards the total invoice amount if you wish, or transfer the full payment and leave the deposit in your CAROMOTO account to bid on another vehicle.
Yes. We can pick up your car from auction and deliver it directly to your home. Once your bid is winning, please indicate whether you would like the vehicle to be delivered to an address other than the address on your driver's license.
All vehicles purchased are delivered via affiliated vehicles. After planning, you will know the name and contact information of the shipping company, when they will pick up and when they will deliver to you.
These moving companies are licensed and have years of experience in the trucking industry.
All affiliated carriers are required to have cargo insurance. The carrier is directly responsible for any damage caused during transportation.
Generally, delivery time is 2-5 days depending on carrier availability and delivery route. Please pay the vehicle balance and order delivery as soon as possible to expedite the delivery of your vehicle.
Our affiliated carriers use various types of vehicles (car carriers, tow trucks, open carriers, covered carriers, etc.). We don't know what type of vehicle is used until it is planned. If you would like to use a carrier using a specific type of vehicle, you can let us know after purchase and we will do our best to schedule your request.
This depends on the operator's current traffic and schedule. Typical carrier appointments are 2-3 days from notification. Same day delivery is possible but cannot guarantee until requested. We do everything we can to make sure your pickup and delivery are as fast, efficient and safe as possible.
Vehicle delivery may vary depending on the distance from the auction to the destination, weather conditions and the carrier's work schedule. Local delivery typically requires 2-3 days after scheduled pickup. For cross country shipping, it may take 5-10 days for your vehicle to arrive. To speed up delivery, please make full payment immediately upon winning an auction and be sure to provide all information at the time of booking shipping.
You can always view your estimated delivery date by logging into your account. All stages of the delivery process are available to you here. We will also notify you via email when the vehicle is scheduled to be picked up, when it will be picked up, and when delivery is expected. Your courier will contact you a few hours before delivery to confirm the scheduled time.
You can only have an agent or family member sign for and collect the vehicle if you specify this at the time of booking. If you or your designated agent are unable to accept delivery, the vehicle will remain with the carrier or be placed in storage until you can arrange pickup. Vehicles remaining with the carrier or stored in storage are subject to additional fees and transportation costs.
Yes. The company can deliver your car to any safe location you specify, including your office. Please ensure all destination and contact information is correct when booking your delivery and we will make sure it gets delivered!
If you need to change your shipping address, please call or contact us at shipping@caromoto.com. We will do our best to accommodate changes depending on the stage of delivery.
Yes, we can ship your vehicles from any major US port on weekly flights to anywhere in the world. We can manage all aspects of the overseas shipping process, including vehicle pickup, delivery to the warehouse port, US Customs, container or RORO (Roll-On, Roll-Off) preparation and delivery to the destination port, while keeping you informed of the various points throughout the entire delivery process.
We can send purchased equipment anywhere in the world.
To determine the country and shipping cost, use the shipping calculator.
If your country is not on the list, you can request a quote by email from our company staff.
Please check with your destination province for current import requirements before bidding. We can ship vehicles to the US side of the Canadian border. Some of the most popular border crossing locations are: Sweet Grass, MT Detroit, MI Blaine, WA Buffalo, NY.
Any vehicle with a clean or salvage title can be imported into Canada as long as it meets Canadian vehicle safety standards. Any vehicle that cannot be repaired may be imported but may only be used as parts. Please contact the Import Vehicle Registrar for current requirements before bidding.
In order to import your vehicle, you will need a valid title and a completed Vehicle Import Form or Vehicle Parts Import Form. You will also be required to pay any applicable taxes and/or customs duties required to import the vehicle. Please contact the Import Vehicle Registrar to confirm your import requirements before bidding.
The shipping company transporting the container has limited liability for loss of cargo. To avoid problems arising in the event of loss of cargo, we advise you to insure the transportation of purchased vehicles by sea.
The vehicle may not be removed from the auction lot under any circumstances. If you have a carrier or tow truck, you can contact CAROMOTO about auction pickup. If you do not have the necessary equipment to collect your vehicle, we will arrange delivery through our transport partners.
If the buyer is outside the United States, you cannot pick up the purchased vehicle(s) from the auction yourself. Since all vehicles purchased are registered with CAROMOTO, we must ensure that the vehicles do not remain in the US and are not exported.
Our priority is to receive and deliver your vehicle as quickly, safely and efficiently as possible. Our affiliated carriers are very good at what they do, but circumstances (e.g. weather, construction, schedule delays, etc.) occur beyond our control. Therefore, our schedule estimates cannot be guaranteed, but can provide an empirical estimate of what we can expect. You'll receive 24-hour notification of what stage your car is at through your account, so you'll always be aware of your car's situation.
You can insure the purchased vehicle during sea delivery at a rate of 1.2% for partial damage and 1% for total loss of cargo. Insurance interest is calculated on the total amount indicated in the Invoice.
The non-refundable amount for damages is $500.
To obtain insurance, you must immediately after purchase send an e-mail request to insure the vehicle, indicating the VIN number and the rate at which you want to insure.
All of our contract carriers are required to carry cargo insurance for domestic shipments. Upon request, we can provide you with a copy of the carrier's insurance coverage.
In your personal account in the “My Cars” section you can get information about the stages of delivery of your car.
For customers requiring sea freight, information about the carrier, container number and expected date of arrival at the destination port is also available.
Once you know the container number, you can use this website to track the exact location of the container: http://www.searates.com/container/tracking/
If you intend to leave the purchased equipment in the United States, we will be able to sell it to you only if you have a dealer license.
Otherwise, all equipment must be exported.
Delivery time depends on the distance of the auction from the delivery location, traffic density and condition of the purchased vehicle. Damaged vehicles may affect both shipping prices and delivery times.
Besides these factors, vehicle delivery usually takes 2 to 10 days.
As soon as the purchased equipment is loaded into the container and all documents are completed, we will notify you by email of the contact information of the agent company at the port of destination, who will accept the container and process your equipment.
You can also find information about agent companies in the main ports in the Documents section.
Before loading into a container at the port of departure, all equipment is photographed and a condition inventory is compiled.
If additional minor damage is discovered that is not indicated in the inventory when loading the car, you need to contact the agent who met and unloaded your car with a request to compensate for the damage.
If the car was seriously damaged and was insured, you need to contact CAROMOTO employees for further instructions on the insured event.
Car price | Maximum return |

Yes.
Agent companies are independent organizations with their own prices for registration of vehicles when unloading a container.
The cost of services of agent companies in different ports may vary.
You need to clarify the cost of registration yourself, using the contact information about the agent that we will provide you with.
There are two main methods of delivering equipment:

Ro-Ro (Roll on, Roll of) is carried out on the internal decks of ferry-type ships.
More detailed information about delivery methods can be found in the How to Buy section.
All cars and other purchased equipment are sent from two main ports:

Yes. Many vehicles offered at insurance auctions are undriveable or in non-driving condition. Since delivery is carried out by a shipping carrier and/or cargo container, there are no problems with the delivery of these vehicles. Please be prepared to coordinate with the delivery driver to unload the vehicle upon delivery.
You are responsible for unloading your vehicle. The driver can help, but ultimately the responsibility lies with you.

For vehicles priced above $200,000, the commission will be $6,000.
For pre-owned vehicles and equipment costing less than $50,000, the fee is $495. For vehicles priced over $50,000, the fee is 1% of the dealer's final price.
Yes, it's important to keep in mind that the price listed online reflects only the cost of the vehicle itself. Dealer fees will be added on top, and for new vehicles, sales taxes will also apply. To get the total price, we request a detailed quote from the dealer.
Yes, we can assist in ordering vehicles with any options and upgrades available from the manufacturer.
Vehicles with low mileage and cars in excellent condition are available. We can also offer certified vehicles that have been inspected by authorized dealers.
You can buy a comprehensive vehicle history report (Carfax/AutoCheck), which includes information about previous owners, accidents, and repairs. These reports can be ordered on our homepage at https://caromoto.com/. Additionally, we can arrange a full vehicle inspection through a third-party company for your convenience, priced at $200.
A package of documents is sent to the client immediately after passing through customs control at the US port. We send documents only by courier service and provide you with a shipment number so that you can independently track the package with documents.
The usual delivery time for documents is from 5 to 10 days depending on the client's location.
If a title is included in the auction, it will be sent to us shortly after the auction closes and the transfer will be processed, usually within a week. Once we receive your title, it will take 1-2 business days to process and transfer to your name. We ship 2-day headline air shipping to the address you have entered in your account for document delivery. The total time between winning the auction and receiving the title is approximately 2-3 weeks.
Any delay in payment, electronic document completion, or title "missing" at auction will result in a delay in the processing of your title. Please make payment immediately upon winning the auction and be sure to complete the electronic paperwork emailed to you. Also note that if the vehicle you are bidding on is listed as "unavailable", there will be an additional delay in receiving from the seller or a duplicate from an authorized licensing agent.
Trademarks indicate that a used vehicle has been damaged or may be potentially unsafe to drive. If the vehicle's title has been "branded", this is an official designation made by a government agency and must appear on the vehicle's title documents. Neither individuals nor private companies may mark Title.
Although title brands vary by state, some of the most common include:
Salvage, Junk, Totaled, Lemon, Flood, Salvage, Rebuild
The name "rebuilt" is a branding that reflects a history where the vehicle was previously marked salvage (repairable) but has since been restored and inspected by the appropriate government agency. The "Rebuilt" brand remains on the vehicle's title forever, but the vehicle can still be registered and insured.
CAROMOTO does not guarantee that any brand names can be reinstated in any particular state or country. Please contact your local DMV with questions about transferring business title in your state of residence.

If you want to buy a vehicle that you found on the Internet, then you can select ORDER in your personal account to receive a special request.
You must indicate the name of the car, year of manufacture, mileage, VIN number, a link to the resource where the car is located and the amount you are willing to pay for the selected car.
We will contact the seller as soon as possible and inform you about the possibility of purchasing the car.
It doesn't matter where you buy your car; The main thing is that the car has all the necessary documents, there is no collateral (lein) and it was not stolen.
All information about cars from auctions is presented on our website - this is official information.
To verify the authenticity of a vehicle's information, registered users can enter the VIN number into the AutoCheck tool on the website to receive a free vehicle history report. You can also purchase a CARFAX report as an additional source or purchase a PSI for the vehicle.
Our company is officially registered at auctions and provides only official information about auctions and lots presented at US auctions.
There are independent companies that can perform a detailed and professional inspection of a vehicle before purchasing it at fixed rates ($100 to $500).
We recommend using AIM's pre-sale inspection services: https://homepage.aiminspections.com/ You can download a sample report by clicking on the link. The vehicle inspection is carried out at 155 points, with an additional test drive.
When buying a car outside of an auction, this service is a very important tool for checking information about the seller. Orders must be placed at least 1 day prior to the purchase date of selected vehicles. To order this service, go to your personal account, select the "ORDER" section and select "Order a paid inspection". Or you can avail this service by registering online at https://homepage.aiminspections.com/
An additional service for US customers is Post-Sales Inspection, available at selected auctions. A post-sale inspection is an additional inspection performed by the auction company to reduce the risk of missed damage during the vehicle's initial inspection. We highly recommend this service to our US customers because if additional significant damage is found, you will be able to return the vehicle for a refund or request compensation for repairs. Please contact CAROMOTO Sales to inquire about Post-Sales Inspection for your purchased vehicle.
If you are not a US resident and the vehicle will be exported, you are exempt from US sales tax. If you are a U.S. resident of any state other than Washington State, you will be required to pay sales tax to your state of residence when you register your vehicle. If you are a Washington State resident, we will collect sales tax based on the address on your driver's license and the total amount of your invoice. In this case, the $350 sales tax and registration fee will appear on your invoice and will be payable directly to CAROMOTO. We will process your registration and title request with the WA DOL.
Any vehicle purchased in Canada is subject to Canadian HST or GST. The bid you will be responsible for will depend on where the auction is located. Canadian taxes will not be charged on CAROMOTO fees (i.e. flat fee, delivery fee, document fee).
In addition to English, our customer service representatives speak Polish, Russian, Spanish, German and Arabic.
